Low-E/Low-E4® Glass
This is the standard glass package that usually come with our windows. The glass is a strong insulator and is versatile enough to keep your home comfortable in any season. Homeowners in regions where the weather doesn’t reach the extremes won’t need any other type of glass.
SmartSun™ Glass
This glass package is an upgrade from the Low-E4® glass; it adds a second layer of protection against the sun. The extra layer filters out most of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays while letting ample daylighting into your home. This glass is perfect for every casement window installed in your kitchen, for example, as the glass will protect your kitchen from the sun’s harmful rays while keeping the area abundantly bright to make cooking and food preparation easy and comfortable.
Sun Glass
The Sun Glass package is your choice if you want even more protection from the sun than what the SmartSun™ package can deliver. The inlaid tints of Sun Glass make it a more effective protection from the sun’s rays, so your indoor temperature hardly ever changes. It’s available on the E-Series, A-Series, 400 and 200 series windows.
PassiveSun® Glass
For those who live in the northern climates, PassiveSun® glass windows work best to preserve heat indoors, especially during the winter season. As it allows more sun rays, it helps retain more heat in your home to reduce your dependence on artificial heat sources.
Triple-Pane Glass
When you need to lock heat inside your home against the coldest weather, then the Triple-Pane glass is for you. Another heat trapping pane is added to your already energy-efficient double hung windows, making it more insulated against the cold weather. This is available in E-series and A-series products.
